We were looking for something more comfortable to costume in after the hard plastic stuff. This costume demands respect and is instantly recognizable. The costume consists of a jacket, jodhpurs, belt and cap. The costume is made from medium weight black or olive grey gabardine and is fully lined.
The jacket is double breasted and has seven poppers which fasten the front overlapping panel. The collar fastens with velcro and a hook and bar. There are two chest height code cylinder pockets and there are two darts at each side waist. The back is made up of three panels for a more tailored fit.
The jodhpurs have a zip fly, with a hook and bar fastener at the waistband and have lace up tie closures at the calf.
The cap is angled to narrow at the top and has two flaps which fold up to the top. The brim has visible stitch lines following it’s shape. The decal is then screwed to the front flap through an eyelet so not to damage the fabric.
The belt is black and has a polished aluminium plate buckle which the leather strip feeds through and then fastens back to itself with a visible popper seen to the right of the buckle. The decal is then screwed to the polished aluminium plate.
Tip – For costuming purposes we would recommend stirrups on the bottom of the trousers to stop them from rolling up when you put your boots on or tuck the trousers into your socks.
